About the Role
Trustly is seeking a Release Manager to join our Release Management team. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality code is deployed safely in production environments and providing guidance to other teams regarding release processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Merge, build and deploy engineering codes in different environments
- →Participate actively in sprint planning and scrum meetings
- →Communicate ideas, problems and struggles proactively
- →Work with various teams including Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps, and FIC
- →Run release processes including alignment, monitoring, merging, building, revert, and rollback on a daily basis
- →Learn about the product to assess and resolve conflicting priorities
Requirements
- ✓Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in IT
- ✓Good knowledge of Git (Workflow and Managing Branches) and/or GitHub
- ✓Experience with Agile development processes including daily stand-ups and test-driven development
- ✓Strong ownership and commitment skills
- ✓Ability to solve problems and find solutions
- ✓Experience handling critical demands in high-pressure environments
- ✓Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
- ✓Good communication skills and ability to communicate in English
- ✓Organized, proactive, detailed-oriented, and a good team player
