About the Role
Trustpilot is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their engineering team in the Trust Tech department. This role involves working in a cross-functional team with full ownership of products and codebase, participating in every step of the development process from ideation to maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work in a cross-functional team alongside Product, Design, and Data Science
- →Implement and release new features with focus on backend stability and scalability
- →Build solutions for high-volume data processing in fraud detection
- →Maintain and improve internal tooling frontends (React) for investigations
- →Troubleshoot software, fix bugs, and optimize database performance
- →Participate in technical discussions and learn Infrastructure as Code best practices
- →Collaborate with Data Scientists on detection model integration
Requirements
- ✓Experience in full-stack web development (commercial or portfolio-based)
- ✓Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- ✓Strong understanding of backend development with Node.js
- ✓Understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases
- ✓Familiarity with component-based frontend development (React)
- ✓Friendly, helpful personality open to feedback
