About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Millwork Management Consultant to join our owner’s advisory team for a major casino and resort development. This role involves providing strategic advice on cost, constructability, and quality throughout the design and delivery phases.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide pricing and commercial advisory services
- →Review and validate subcontractor bids and shop drawings
- →Assess and negotiate change orders for cost and schedule impact
- →Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance
- →Identify coordination issues with other trades
- →Oversee mockup and sample approval processes
- →Recommend material substitutions and fabrication methods
- →Provide insights on millwork supply chain and lead times
- →Validate fabrication and installation durations
- →Ensure adherence to project specifications and standards
- →Present recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Deep expertise in architectural millwork for luxury hospitality or gaming environments
- ✓Strong understanding of cost estimation, escalation assumptions, and procurement strategies
- ✓Experience with shop drawing review and submittal processes
- ✓Knowledge of coordination issues with MEP, stone, metal, glass, and AV trades
- ✓Familiarity with quality standards, fire ratings, ADA, and sustainability standards
- ✓Ability to establish QA/QC protocols and acceptance criteria
- ✓Experience with risk registers, VE logs, and reporting dashboards
- ✓Understanding of SOX control responsibilities
