About the Role
We are looking for Project Managers to join our expanding Real Estate team in Leeds. This role involves leading Project Management Commissions and taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery
- →Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met
- →Handle commissions of varying scale and value, up to £40m in value
- →Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage
- →Lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project
- →Plan for and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues
- →Establish effective project governance, processes and systems
- →Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team
- →Monitor and apply performance management techniques
- →Manage the change control process
- →Monitor and advise upon project finances
- →Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client
- →Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- →Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants
- →Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients
- →Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities
- →Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
- →Attend formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors
- →Ensure that project case study, photograph and project CV files are kept up to date
- →Identify and act upon opportunities to improve project management products and services
- →Staff management – Inputting into the formal management of an Assistant Project Manager or small project management team
- →Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
- →Financial management – Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilising FMS to monitor a project’s financial status
- →Process improvement – Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes
Requirements
- ✓Experience in leading Project Management Commissions
- ✓Ability to advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage

- ✓Knowledge of project governance, processes and systems
