About the Role
We are looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Turquoise Health and help eliminate the financial complexity of healthcare. This role will support building our core pricing systems and requires someone who can handle complex technical challenges while collaborating effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build robust, scalable applications using Python, Django, and modern frontend web technologies
- →Work autonomously on complex assignments requiring specialist contribution and cross-team collaboration
- →Execute and adapt established processes to achieve technical objectives with minimal guidance
- →Write effective, scalable, testable code across full-stack applications
- →Work with large datasets and AI/ML systems to process and enhance healthcare pricing data
- →Facilitate technical conversations and proactively communicate status and impact
- →Support and guide teammates in understanding technical concepts
- →Iterate quickly with an eye towards value
Requirements
- ✓5-7+ years work experience in Python
- ✓Expertise in at least one popular Python web framework (preferably Django)
- ✓Strong understanding of SQL and database management
- ✓Solid experience with JavaScript and modern JS frameworks
- ✓Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and complex system architectures
- ✓Ability to work effectively with minimal guidance on complex problems
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
