About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Twilio's Voice Connectivity Trust team in the US. This role focuses on ensuring reliable voice communication for Twilio's customers through real-time services development and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement real-time services with high throughput and low latency requirements
- →Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver robust solutions
- →Express technical ideas clearly through detailed documentation
- →Scale a complex distributed platform with global points of presence
- →Solve novel customer problems for the Voice channel
Requirements
- ✓2-3+ years of hands-on experience with large scale, distributed applications on JVM technologies
- ✓Experience building RESTful services and working with event-driven architectures
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures like AWS, GCP, OpenStack or Azure
- ✓Experience with on-call rotations and monitoring/alerting tools
- ✓Excellent written communication skills
- ✓Proven ability to evaluate AI-generated code
- ✓Strong Java fundamentals
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Strong Computer Science fundamentals
- ✓Able to work well in a team setting
