About the Role
We are looking for a Video Editor to join Twilio's team and lead the post-production process for a wide range of video content. This role focuses on creating high-quality, creative, and impactful visuals across various platforms, with a specific focus on the developer audience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute post-production on video projects, including editing raw footage, creating motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
- →Collaborate with the Developer Network on media projects to target the developer audience through video.
- →Work with creative producers, project managers, and designers to develop video content that aligns with project goals.
- →Innovate and experiment with editing styles, techniques, and visual trends to enhance the overall quality of Twilio’s video content.
- →Ensure that all video deliverables meet the highest technical and creative standards, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve Studio, and After Effects.
- ✓Proven experience in motion graphics design, including custom animations and graphical overlays.
- ✓Strong understanding of color grading techniques and tools.
- ✓Audio editing and sound design skills.
- ✓Thorough knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and best practices for video compression and export.
- ✓Experience working with various types of footage, including multi-camera edits, green screen keying, and visual effects compositing.
- ✓Ability to lead and manage post-production workflows, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- ✓Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
