About the Role
We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our Ubisoft Infrastructure & Platform team. This role involves designing, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Linux environments—both on-premises and in the cloud. You will play a key part in ensuring the stability and reliability of our Ubisoft systems, supporting business-critical services, and collaborating with development teams to build automation and efficient deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and maintain Linux servers (Rocky Linux, or Red Hat preferred) in virtualized and cloud environments.
- →Implement and optimize automation using configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
- →Monitor infrastructure with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
- →Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and related tools.
- →Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
- →Collaborate on cloud infrastructure (Azure) using Terraform.
- →Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues (firewalls, load balancers, proxies, etc.).
- →Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying ways to enhance system performance and reliability.
