About the Role

We are looking for a VFX Artist to join Ubisoft Montreal. This role focuses on creating striking visual moments that enhance gameplay and elevate the player experience.

Key Responsibilities

→Collaborate with creative direction to understand the overall vision and define VFX priorities
→Create gameplay, environmental, and cinematic effects using particle systems and original textures
→Partner with programming teams to evaluate needs and support tool development
→Design effects that respect technical constraints while maintaining strong visual impact
→Integrate visual effects into the game engine and ensure real time performance
→Iterate on effects based on playtest results, including debugging and optimization
→Refine effects using feedback from cross functional teams
→Consider post launch community feedback when relevant, balancing expectations and limitations
