About the Role
We are looking for a Voice Designer to join the For Honor team at Ubisoft Montreal. This 12-month contract position involves handling voice and dialogue integration while leading voice recording sessions to support the ongoing development of For Honor.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and maintain voice and dialogue systems aligned with the project vision and scope.
- →Integrate and manage voice content using Wwise and internal tools, ensuring consistency across gameplay and narrative systems.
- →Lead and actively participate in voice recording sessions, tracking lines and supporting voice direction.
- →Provide voice direction to actors, guiding intention, emotion, and performance.
- →Edit voice recordings in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Reaper or Pro Tools.
- →Collaborate with Audio, Narrative, Programming, Localization, and Production teams.
- →Maintain and document the voice integration pipeline, including scripts and data managed through internal tools.
- →Work closely with Localization teams to ensure voice systems are understood and assets are delivered correctly.
- →Support Quality Assurance by contributing to voice and dialogue test plans.
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Wwise and internal tools.
- ✓Proficiency in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) like Reaper or Pro Tools.
- ✓Strong artistic sensibility and clear communication skills.
- ✓Ability to guide voice performances effectively.
- ✓Experience with voice recording sessions and voice direction.
- ✓Collaborative approach in a live production environment.
