LIFE AT UIPATH
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your Mission
Step into the role as Solution Architect for Peak, now part of UiPath, where we’re building a world-class agentic AI platform together. Following a decade of successful AI deployments, Peak’s AI now optimizes inventories and pricing for global industry leaders including Nike, The Body Shop and PepsiCo. Our mission is simple: to help organizations make exceptional commercial decisions through AI.
In this role, you’ll be the senior technical authority bridging Peak’s product capabilities with the realities of our customers’ enterprise environments. You’ll own the solution architecture from first technical engagement through to delivery handover. You won’t be the one running demos or building the commercial case; you’ll be the one making sure everything is architected correctly before and during delivery.
About the Role
This role sits within the Engineering organisation. The Solution Architect is responsible for mapping Peak’s agentic automation and predictive AI products onto customer enterprise IT landscapes – ensuring Peak’s ML-powered Inventory and Pricing solutions can be deployed at scale without requiring modification of Peak’s core product.
The Solution Architect works directly with customer Enterprise Architects, IT leadership, and technical decision-makers, and internally with Peak Product, Sales, and Delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
• Ensure all customer implementations do not require material modification of Peak’s core product, while still meeting enterprise requirements for scale, security, and operability.
• Lead architectural assessments of customer enterprise environments – evaluating integration constraints, data flows, security requirements, and deployment topology – to produce validated, target-state solution designs.
• Translate technical requirements gathered from Enterprise Architects and IT leadership into production-ready solution designs that maximise Peak’s product capabilities.
• Articulate clear and defensible boundaries between supported product configuration, approved customisation, and out-of-scope bespoke development, ensuring long-term scalability and upgradeability.
• Create and maintain reusable architecture artefacts – including reference architectures, integration patterns, deployment models, and visual diagrams – for use by Solution Engineers, Product Managers, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain solution design documentation and processes to support consistent, repeatable delivery across engagements.
Technical Customer Engagement
• Serve as the senior technical authority in architecture-focused customer engagements, working directly with Enterprise Architects, IT leads, and technical decision-makers to validate feasibility and confirm integration approach.
• Engage during pre-sales at the point where deep technical architecture validation is required.
• Present and explain architecture options through structured diagrams and visual models, tailored to technical audiences including CIOs and CDOs.
• Proactively identify and resolve architectural blockers in pre-sales and early implementation phases, before they escalate into delivery risks.
• Own the structured handover of validated solution designs to Forward Deployed Engineer teams, with complete documentation, design rationale, and decision logs.
Internal Collaboration & Enablement
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to surface and articulate product gaps identified during customer engagements, providing structured feedback on configuration limits, pro-code customisation needs, and architectural constraints.
• Drive best practices for solution architecture, implementation governance, and product boundary management across Peak and UiPath teams.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain established solution design documentation and processes.
Qualifications for the Role
• Multiple years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or a related senior technical leadership role, with a demonstrable track record of owning architecture for large, complex organisations.
• Experience working within SaaS, ERP, or enterprise ML/AI product companies in customer-facing architecture contexts – not pre-sales or sales engineering.
• Strong ability to define and govern solution boundaries: distinguishing between configurable product use and bespoke customisation, and holding that line with customers and internal teams.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical artefacts including architecture diagrams, integration patterns, deployment models, and reference architectures.
• Credible communicator with senior technical stakeholders (Enterprise Architects, CIOs, IT leadership), as well as the ability to explain architectural decisions to non-technical business audiences.
• Demonstrated experience with architectural evaluation, design patterns, integration approaches, and enterprise governance frameworks.
Nice to Have
• Experience with agentic solutions, orchestration platforms, or automation technologies.
• Domain experience in pricing, inventory, supply chain, or ERP.
• Familiarity with modelling languages (UML, ArchiMate) and associated tooling.
• Experience advising on product boundaries, avoiding bespoke customisation, and promoting scalable architectural patterns.
Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
