About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Localization Engineer to join Unity's Global Localization Team in India. This role involves designing and implementing streamlined solutions across various technology stacks to support localization for our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- →Establish foundational localization workflows by creating and sustaining a core automation framework
- →Provide guidance on standard methodologies for localization of applications and online services
- →Perform platform agnostic scripting, source control automation, and optimizing complex automation pipelines
- →Analyze new features and products to ensure they are i18n ready and source content is clear for translation
- →Maintain and optimize linguistic infrastructure including Translation Memories, Term Bases, and Machine Translation engines
Requirements
- ✓Proven hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in a platform-agnostic scripting language
- ✓Practical experience in localization engineering for client-side and web applications
- ✓Strong written communication skills with experience in technical framework specifications
- ✓Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
