Doctoral Researcher in Biomedical Photonics Job
š¬ Doctoral Researcher Position in Biomedical Photonics | University of Oulu, Finland
Biomedical photonics combines light-based technologies with biology and medicine to develop advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools. This exciting field uses lasers and optical systems to examine tissues at the microscopic level, enabling non-invasive disease detection and personalized medicine. By creating digital twins of human organs like skin and brain, researchers can simulate how light interacts with tissue to detect conditions such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases without surgery.
