About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team at Valtech, the experience innovation company. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend services using Java and related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java and related frameworks
→Provide corrective and evolutionary support for existing applications
→Participate in production deployments
→Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, DevOps, UX and QA teams
→Interact directly with clients to understand requirements
→Prepare and present demos of delivered functionalities
→Troubleshoot production issues
→Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing
→Contribute to technical documentation
→Support the team in estimations and solution design

Requirements

✓Strong professional experience with Java development and building backend services
✓Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem
✓Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming principles
✓Experience with microservices-based architectures
✓Experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
✓Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
✓Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
✓Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
✓Experience with unit and integration testing
✓Experience integrating with third-party systems
✓Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
✓Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
✓Experience working in Agile environments
