About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Leader for the E-Commerce SecOps & Observability team at Valtech. This role involves leading platform product development, ensuring security and observability tools are easy and valuable to use, and integrating capabilities with Backstage IDP.
Key Responsibilities
- →Guide the team in building tools and patterns that validate availability, performance, scalability, and security
- →Lead the creation of reference implementations for new projects
- →Manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies for the SecOps and observability domains
- →Lead sprint planning and support delivery manager with retrospectives
- →Build tools to measure adoption and show impact
- →Treat product teams as customers, proactively seeking feedback
Requirements
- ✓Experience with metrics, logs, traces, and security posture for E-Commerce services
- ✓Strong understanding of platform products and observability tools
- ✓Ability to lead by doing, creating reference implementations and "Golden Paths"
- ✓Experience with Backstage IDP integration
- ✓Knowledge of technical direction and platform strategy
