About the Role
Veeam Data Cloud is a SaaS offering for backup and recovery, built on Veeam’s industry-leading technology. We are seeking a Platform Engineer to contribute to the infrastructure for developing, testing, and running Veeam Data Cloud products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for public cloud infrastructure
- →Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- →Operate and improve shared platform components and internal services
- →Document system design, configurations, and processes
- →Collaborate with remote engineers to build the VDC platform
- →Work with a modern technology stack including containers, serverless infrastructure, and public cloud services
- →Participate in on-call rotation for product operations
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS or cloud service provider
- ✓Experience automating infrastructure through code using Terraform or Pulumi
- ✓Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms
- ✓Experience with public cloud services
- ✓Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products with high reliability and security standards
- ✓Understanding of operational excellence in a SaaS environment
- ✓Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- ✓Understanding of secure design principles in the cloud
- ✓Ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly
- ✓A university degree in a technical field
