Security Architect at Veeamsoftware

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Security Architect to join the GIS Security Architecture team at Veeam. This role involves executing day-to-day security reviews, approvals, and design tasks to ensure corporate infrastructure and applications remain secure, compliant, and aligned with established reference architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• →Execute security reviews and approvals for Antivirus Exclusions, Browser Extensions, Email Whitelisting, Firewall Rules, Software Installations, and General Security Guidance.
• →Complete out-of-band requests and Product Architecture (VDC) alignment/support within SLA targets.
• →Attend Architecture Committee and AI Committee meetings, providing security input and documenting decisions.
• →Maintain and update existing security reference architectures under Senior Director guidance.
• →Apply risk assessment frameworks to ticketed requests and suggest compensating controls.
• →Work with CT Security Engineering, Cyber Operations, and business units to apply consistent security best practices.
• →Stay current with security trends, tools, and threats relevant to daily review tasks.
