About the Role

Veeam Data Cloud is a SaaS offering for backup and recovery of various SaaS services including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Azure, and Salesforce. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in developing and maintaining this platform.

Key Responsibilities

→Manage a team of frontend, backend, and platform engineers
→Design, build, and test important features in Veeam Data Cloud services using React, Golang, Kubernetes, and Azure technologies
→Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, Design, and Platform teams
→Foster a culture of operational excellence and manage team on-call rotations
→Build growth plans for team members and work with them to achieve their goals
→Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies
→Manage week-to-week development work through agile ceremonies
→Plan and execute on the engineering roadmap

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience managing engineers
✓7+ years of experience developing enterprise software with Golang, Kubernetes, and Azure
✓Expertise in developing scalable, multi-threaded systems
✓Experience with distributed systems and SaaS architecture
✓Experience with database and storage systems in the public cloud
✓University degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
