About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. You will be working with a global team to build next-generation data protection services focused on ensuring data resilience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and drive technical vision for multiple areas within their team
- →Design and develop highly reliable and scalable SaaS microservices
- →Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
- →Drive team deliverables in a timely and predictable fashion
- →Facilitate effective collaboration across the engineering organization
- →Participate in on-call rotation for product operations
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in software development
- ✓Expertise designing and implementing SaaS or large-scale cloud services
- ✓Expertise with a modern programming language like Go, C#, Java, Scala, or Rust
- ✓Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container and orchestration tools
- ✓Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures
- ✓Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- ✓Passion for code quality, testing, and automation
