About the Role
Veeva Systems is seeking a Data Operations Team Lead to manage a remote team of 20+ freelancers conducting rule-based research and data correction. This role focuses on improving process efficiency, reducing defects, and driving operational metrics while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a team of 20+ freelancers in data operations
- →Design business processes and drive process improvements
- →Implement quality and efficiency projects
- →Own team KPIs and performance metrics
- →Collaborate with engineering teams on process automation
- →Escalate risks and incidents early and clearly
- →Execute changes with speed and effectiveness
Requirements
- ✓Extensive people leadership experience (3+ years)
- ✓Proven knowledge of business process design, management, and optimization
- ✓Comfortable working remotely in an international environment
- ✓Confident spreadsheet user with pivot tables and nested formulas
- ✓Excellent communication skills in Japanese
- ✓Sufficient English read/write skills for internal communication
