Vendelux is a rapidly scaling AI company building the system of record for event marketing. We're heading into Series B and growing fast β and we're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside our CEO as a trusted thought partner, strategic operator, and force multiplier across the business.
This is not a 9-to-5 role, and it's not an EA role. You'll sit next to the CEO, be in every important room, and be expected to move fast, think clearly, and own outcomes, not just coordinate them.
You will help turn ideas into execution, drive alignment across teams, and ensure the company is operating at maximum velocity. This is an ideal role for someone who began their career in top-tier strategy consulting and has since operated inside a high-growth startup.
This role is fully on-site five days a week, sitting next to the CEO out of our NYC headquarters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work directly with the CEO on strategic priorities You'll partner with the CEO to define priorities, structure problems, and drive execution across the company. This includes board meetings and investor update preparation, fundraising and strategic partnership support, evaluation of new product and market opportunities, and leading key company-wide initiatives. You'll also represent the CEO in internal discussions and meetings where his presence isn't required β acting as a true extension, not a delegate.
- Lead high-impact cross-functional projects You'll own 1β3 major strategic initiatives at any given time, cutting across product, GTM, data, sales, engineering, and operations. This could include items like designing internal operating cadences and reporting frameworks, and supporting the launch of new AI capabilities and platform features.
- Be a trusted thought partner to the CEO You'll pressure test strategic decisions, synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, and help communicate priorities across the company. You'll be the person the CEO thinks out loud with β and the person who tells him when something isn't right.
WHO YOU ARE
Background
- 2-4 years of previous experience in management consulting with 2-4 post consulting experience in a high growth early stage startup
- Previous Chief of Staff experience is ideal; business operations, data, or strategy roles also considered
- Founder ambitions are a genuine plus
