About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Data & AI to join Vendelux, a Series A SaaS company that helps companies discover the best events. This role involves building production-grade systems at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build AI-powered features, starting with customer problems first
- →Build maintainable and scalable systems, including writing clean, testable code
- →Operate as an end-to-end developer in a fast-paced startup
- →Research and apply modern AI methods to power new product capabilities
- →Translate business problems into AI solutions that improve user workflows
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders and engineers
- →Establish and evangelize standards for AI/ML engineering and data quality
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering
- ✓Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL
- ✓Experience with modern AI frameworks and designing data pipelines
- ✓Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure
- ✓Experience applying LLMs and generative AI in production
- ✓Strong grasp of fundamental data science and machine learning techniques
- ✓Ability to translate business problems into data solutions
- ✓Proven track record of shipping user-facing features with measurable impact
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Startup experience preferred
