About the Role
Veolia is seeking a Graduate Layout and Piping Designer to join our 1-year immersive graduate program. This permanent position offers a structured development journey leading to long-term career opportunities across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop 2D/3D piping layouts and isometric drawings using CAD software
- →Design piping systems including routing, support structures, and equipment arrangements
- →Create and modify P&IDs, plot plans, and equipment layouts in collaboration with engineers
- →Perform clash detection analysis and resolve spatial conflicts
- →Ensure all designs comply with industry standards including ASME, API, and ISO codes
- →Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and prepare technical documentation
- →Conduct vendor drawing reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- →Lead small design packages independently, presenting designs and incorporating feedback
Requirements
- ✓Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related field)
- ✓Willingness to join between July and October 2026
- ✓Ability to learn and master industry-leading CAD software
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- ✓Commitment to professional development and learning
- ✓Understanding of engineering principles and design concepts
- ✓Attention to detail and precision in technical work
- ✓Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
