Platform Engineer (DevOps & Application Support) at Verifone

About the Role

Verifone is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining applications within payment environments, with a primary task of designing and implementing automation processes for integration, deployment, and monitoring of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• →Ensure performance, availability, and scalability of infrastructure and services meet SLAs
• →Automate and optimize BAU tasks using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• →Monitor, respond to, and escalate service incidents within SLA
• →Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
• →Collaborate with Development and QA teams for release management
• →Support deployments and system changes with automated tools
• →Lead major change initiatives with stakeholders
• →Contribute to DevOps policies and best practices
• →Define and maintain SLAs and SLOs
• →Participate in RFP responses and technical evaluations
• →Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• →Participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation
• →Support project delivery teams with infrastructure expertise
