About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure across development and production environments. This role involves working closely with software engineers, product managers, and support teams to evolve our cloud-first DevOps practice.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure in AWS
- →Lead or contribute to migration projects, helping move legacy, customer hosted systems into cloud-native architectures
- →Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- →Guide improvements to system architecture, focusing on reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency
- →Contribute to modernizing our CI/CD practices, enabling safe, rapid delivery of services across environments
- →Improve operational visibility through monitoring, logging, and tracing, and support incident response efforts
- →Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and design reviews
- →Help align DevOps tooling and processes across Versant, promoting platform consistency and best practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- ✓Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines
- ✓Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools
- ✓Experience with incident response and operational visibility
- ✓Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards
