About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who will work with Government Digital Service (GDS) projects, ensuring the development of consistent and user-friendly government digital services.

Key Responsibilities

→Frame problems and set priorities for delivery teams
→Work to GDS standards to ensure user-friendly services
→Influence and provide direction on product development
→Collaborate with Scrum Master, development team, user researchers, service designers, and technical leads
→Define and prioritize a product backlog
→Ensure delivery of successful outcomes
→Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
→Work with stakeholders to understand user needs
→Translate product roadmap into manageable backlog items
→Accept or reject work to ensure software meets requirements

Requirements

✓Experience in product management, particularly with GDS projects
✓Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
✓Ability to frame problems and set priorities
✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
✓Experience with user research and service design
✓Ability to define and manage a product backlog
✓Stakeholder management experience
✓Authority to accept or reject work based on requirements
