About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Engineering, Mobile to lead Via’s state-of-the-art mobile apps. This role involves crafting products, technology, and delivery strategies while managing and mentoring mobile engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and execute on a long-term vision and strategy for Via’s mobile teams
- →Drive the technical direction and roadmap for mobile development
- →Coach and support direct reports to positively impact their career development
- →Act as a subject matter expert in mobile engineering
- →Improve engineering-wide processes and practices
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 5 years experience in managing and leading mobile teams
- ✓Minimum of 8 years experience building complex mobile apps in iOS/Android/Flutter
- ✓Experience combining full stack and mobile is a big advantage
- ✓BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related degree
- ✓An all-around team player and self-motivated individual
- ✓Passion for code craftsmanship
- ✓Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
- ✓A strong leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
