About the Role
We are looking for a Principal ML/Data Engineer to join our team at VideoAmp. This role focuses on shaping the next generation of data and measurement products through advanced machine learning systems and data quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and lead development of advanced machine learning models and large-scale data validation systems
- →Design and optimize ML infrastructure including scalable distributed pipelines and automated validation frameworks
- →Lead experimentation strategies including model benchmarking and statistical validation
- →Drive data quality standards across the organization
- →Own cross-functional initiatives from requirements definition through production deployment
- →Influence technical direction and contribute to architectural decisions
- →Mentor engineers on ML best practices and system design
- →Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar technical role
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and distributed data processing
- ✓Experience with making models reproduceable
- ✓Deep understanding of data quality methodologies and validation frameworks
- ✓Strong experience designing and scaling ML infrastructure
- ✓Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, ideally on AWS
- ✓Expertise with CI/CD, version control, and modern DevOps practices
- ✓Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts
- ✓Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives
