About the Role
The Applied Cryptography team at Visa supports encryption solutions across the organization. This role involves assisting in planning, documenting, coordinating, and implementing Data Protection, symmetric key management, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop expertise in the acceptable use and issuance of Data Protection Solutions, PKI certificates, and key management practices.
- →Apply knowledge of Key Management fundamentals to host security modules and procedures.
- →Identify, review, and implement safeguards for Data Protection Solutions, PKI, and banking symmetric key generation systems.
- →Analyze risk assessments and recommend acceptable use of encryption technology.
- →Evaluate encryption methods and algorithms for data transmissions and data at rest.
- →Maintain accurate and up-to-date procedure documentation.
- →Support Data Protection, symmetric key, and PKI tasks conducted to industry compliance standards.
- →Maintain enterprise secrets management capabilities for secure storage and lifecycle management of sensitive credentials.
- →Improve operational efficiency using AI, log analytics, and automated failure recovery.
