About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data & AI Engineer Manager to join our CEMEA team. This role involves architecting scalable data platforms and driving engineering excellence to power insights and AI-driven solutions for Visa's global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build enterprise-scale data platforms using modern big data technologies
- →Architect robust, scalable data pipelines for batch, streaming, and real-time analytics
- →Drive technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and engineering practices
- →Develop and optimize large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
- →Build data infrastructure that supports AI/ML workloads and GenAI applications
- →Manage and optimize AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure
- →Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
- →Mentor junior data engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
- →Partner with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and cloud-native services
- ✓Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and optimization
- ✓Knowledge of MLOps practices and machine learning model productionization
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- ✓Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Control-M
- ✓Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions
- ✓Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- ✓This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
