About the Organization You’ll Be Joining

This Design Manager will report to the Head of Deal Design & Development within the North America Deal Team, the creative team working with sales leaders to craft the most compelling “Why Visa” stories. You’ll be part of a broader community of presentation designers who share standards, best practices, and a high bar for craft.
Day‑to‑day, this role is deeply embedded with Growth Products & Partnerships (GP&P)—the team responsible for building and scaling Visa’s product‑ and solution‑led partnerships with leading technology companies. In this capacity, you’ll work closely with GP&P product, partnerships, and sales leaders to shape early‑stage opportunity narratives, platform and ecosystem stories, and forward‑looking partnership visions, with a particular focus on Visa’s Big Tech partners.
This structure enables the role to combine best‑in‑class deal design with deep context in product‑led partnerships, ensuring stories are not only beautifully designed, but strategically grounded in how Visa creates long‑term value with its most important partners.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Design Manager who is first and foremost an exceptional presentation designer and visual storyteller — someone who thrives in ambiguity, partners closely with Sales, and helps shape opportunities before they formally exist.
This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and deal strategy. You will work directly with sales and product leaders, account executives, and cross‑functional partners to turn early‑stage ideas into compelling pre‑pitch, opportunity development, pitch, and RFP materials that influence executive decisions and win business.
This is a hands‑on individual contributor role with leadership expectations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed, highly collaborative designer who communicates confidently with Sales and Product leaders and owns work end-to-end, raising the bar on the quality and clarity of pitch narratives.

What You’ll Do
Lead Opportunity & Pitch Development
• Design high‑impact pitch decks, pre‑pitch materials, and RFP responses that clearly articulate product‑led partnership value propositions—working closely with Growth Products & Partnerships leaders to shape ecosystem, platform, and “Why Visa” narratives from early‑stage opportunity development through executive‑level pitches.
• Translate complex ideas, products, and deal structures into clear, persuasive visual narratives.
• Beyond designing slides, help shape and build story flow, structure, and messaging for Visa’ Growth Products, innovation initiatives, and highest priority partnership opportunities— not just slides.
• Develop customized, client/partner-centric Big Tech pitches and provide flexible support on Big Tech deals.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to take existing product UI and translate it into client‑branded UI mockups for use in presentations, pre‑pitch narratives, and RFP responses.

Partner Closely with Sales
• Act as a thought partner to Sales and Product leaders, especially early in opportunity development.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders, ask the right questions, and push for clarity when inputs are ambiguous.
• Confidently present design rationale and challenge assumptions to improve outcomes.

Own Design End‑to‑End
• Independently manage multiple workstreams from concept to final delivery.
• Create and maintain presentation templates, visual systems, and reusable assets that balance speed with quality.
• Ensure consistency with brand, storytelling standards, and executive‑level expectations.

Elevate Craft & Collaboration
• Create elegant visuals, infographics, diagrams, and light animations to represent experiences, capabilities, data, and complex concepts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally as needed (e.g. Legal, Product Design).
• Contribute to best practices, case studies, and evolving standards for pitch and presentation excellence.
• Actively share best practices and consult with NA Deal Design & Development peers to continuously raise the bar on craft, consistency, and impact.

Operate with a Builder’s Mindset
• Move quickly while maintaining high standards — bias toward action, iteration, and ownership.
• Use modern tools (including AI where appropriate) to accelerate thinking, iteration, and execution.
• Continuously raise the bar on presentation quality, storytelling clarity, and effectiveness.

Why This Role Is Different
• You’ll be embedded in early‑stage pitch and opportunity thinking, not just final deliverables.
• You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders and have real influence on how opportunities are framed and pursued.
• You’ll have autonomy, visibility, and the chance to meaningfully raise the bar for how we show up with partners.
• This role focuses on select, high‑stakes opportunities that require platform thinking, ecosystem storytelling, and comfort with ambiguity.
