About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Treasury Liquidity Management Team at Visa. This role involves designing and implementing a core engine that determines fund positioning to optimize liquidity across our global network.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain core services for the liquidity management engine using Java and related technologies
- →Implement event-driven patterns to support real-time decision-making
- →Ensure high availability, scalability, and observability of critical components
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- →Contribute to continuous improvement in code quality, testing, and deployment practices
- →Support and advocate for event-driven architecture within the team
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Java (versions 11+) and Springboot framework
- ✓Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications
- ✓Familiarity with distributed system observability tools like ElasticSearch and Datadog
- ✓Understanding of SQL databases and their limitations
- ✓Experience with testing approaches including TDD, BDD, and Contract Testing
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflow
- ✓Strong teamwork and cross-team collaboration skills
