About the Role
We are looking for a software engineer to join Visa's Technology Organization, responsible for taking ownership and leading engineering responsibility for multiple components in a project. This role involves designing and developing applications that support Visa's sophisticated processing networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Clarifies and documents requirements, communicates them to the team
- →Partners with experienced staff to understand product interactions
- →Learns and implements reusable code for assigned components
- →Applies coding patterns, guidelines, and best practices
- →Uses debugging tools to respond to issues in product features
- →Participates in code reviews for learning and feedback
- →Executes test plans to identify and resolve defects
- →Supports testing configuration and interprets results
- →Identifies and contains software defects to reduce impact
- →Uses developer tools to create, debug, and maintain code
Requirements
