About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to guide teams in developing major new features. This role involves translating complex business problems into technical solutions that resonate with merchants and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population
- →Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions
- →Contribute to product quality improvements and new business flows in diverse agile squads
- →Develop robust and scalable products for end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions
- →Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services and Transaction Platforms
- →Lead and manage the software development team, facilitating communication and fostering a collaborative environment
- →Collaborate with business partners on requirements elaboration and workflow design
- →Evaluate options and provide recommendations on scope and scale of effort required
- →Work with limited direction to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels
- →Maintain a deep understanding of the technology stack and best practices in software development
- →Ensure the quality of the software developed by the teams
- →Collaborate across global businesses and technology organizations
- →Communicate effectively with other teams, stakeholders, and upper management
- →Mentor team members and help them grow in their career
- →Hire and develop a diverse team of talented engineers
- →Participate in support activities such as troubleshooting and defect research
Requirements
- ✓Solid track record of delivering large-scale, reliable, and secure software solutions
- ✓Prefer C# or fullstack with react expertise, but knowledge of other modern programming languages is also welcome
- ✓Experience in guiding and managing software development teams
- ✓Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
- ✓Ability to work in a complex environment with limited direction
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Experience with agile development processes
- ✓Ability to mentor and develop team members
- ✓Understanding of technology stack and best practices in software development
- ✓Experience with payment services, transaction platforms, and real-time payments
- ✓Ability to align software development objectives with company's strategic goals
- ✓Experience with configuration and business re-engineering
- ✓Experience with troubleshooting, defect research, code promotion, and configuration
