π― MISSION
250+ local authorities rely on Vizzia to keep their streets clean and safe. By the end of 2026, that number will be 450. At that pace, data becomes a daily lever β for the Comex, for every team, for every decision that matters.
The foundations are already in place: a modern stack (Snowflake, dbt, Metabase), a Senior Data Platform Engineer who keeps it humming, and a leadership team that wants its decisions backed by numbers. The next chapter is bringing that capability all the way to the business β sharper KPIs for the Comex, operational dashboards for each Head of, and managers who can build their own simple charts. That's the role.
You'll join the BizOps team, reporting to TimothΓ©e, our Head of BizOps & BI. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Senior Data Platform Engineer and partner with every Head of in the company β Sales, Ops, CS, Product, Finance.
Your mission: structure how Vizzia uses its data, so every decision we make in the next two years is sharper than the last.
π οΈ WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Discovery & Scoping
Before writing a single line of SQL, you make sure you understand the decision you're enabling.
- Run discovery conversations with each Head of to qualify the real need behind their requests
- Translate vague asks ("I need a dashboard for my team") into clear specs β defined metrics, scope, and definition of done
- Push back when needed. No deliverable goes out without a clear question to answer.
2. Dashboarding & Reporting
- Build and maintain the Comex KPI suite β leadership pilots its reviews on your numbers, no side trips needed
- Deliver operational dashboards for each function: Revenue (BDR, Sales, KAM), Delivery (Ops, CS), Product usage
- Make every dashboard readable, actionable, and adopted. Clarity beats exhaustivity, every time.
3. Data Marts & Stack Ownership
- Design, document, and maintain data marts on our stack: ETL, Snowflake, dbt, Metabase
- Ship regular PRs, write dbt tests, monitor data quality post-delivery
- Become fully autonomous on the stack within 3 months β no recurring external escalation needed
4. Enablement & Data Culture
- Run enablement sessions so managers and Heads of can build their own simple charts on Metabase
- Track dashboard adoption (DAU/WAU) and iterate on what's actually used
- Be the active guardian of data rigor at Vizzia β every important meeting leans on precise datapoints, not gut feel
5. AI as a Lever
- Use AI tools (Claude and others) daily to ship faster, write better SQL, and accelerate documentation
- Stay close to how AI is reshaping BI workflows and bring those ideas back to the team
β
WHO YOU ARE
- 1 to 2 years of BI experience in a scaleup or demanding startup β not in an ESN or consultancy. Strong reconversion paths (Le Wagon and similar) with a first solid BI internship are also welcome.
- Strong SQL β it's your main tool, not one among many. You write complex queries, you optimize them, you document them.
- Hands-on with at least part of the modern BI stack (Snowflake, dbt, Metabase, or close equivalents).
- You're rigorous. Every number you ship is tested, documented, and you can explain exactly why it is what it is.
- You explain hard things simply. A Head of leaves your meeting knowing what the dashboard tells them β and what to do with it.
- Bonus: comfort with Git and AI-assisted workflows (Claude in particular).
At Vizzia, we care about precision, ownership, and getting things done. We're looking for someone who's genuinely curious about how a company runs β and who finds energy in turning messy data into a clear story.
