About the Role
Join Vonage's Messaging team to help innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide. You'll contribute to developing the CHAT API solution that unifies team messaging, SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, email, and Facebook messaging into a single platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop new features and maintain existing systems within the messaging platform
- →Collaborate with experienced team members in both frontend and backend development
- →Apply software engineering best practices including testing, version control, and CI/CD
- →Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and Agile ceremonies
- →Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with guidance from senior developers
- →Grow your skills through hands-on experience and mentorship
Requirements
- ✓1–3 years of experience in software development
- ✓Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)
- ✓Familiarity with basic web development principles
- ✓Exposure to databases (relational or non-relational)
- ✓Eagerness to learn cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices
- ✓Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, global team
