About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Call Center as a Service (CCaaS) Technology Team at Vonage. In this role, you will work with the QA team to define and implement automation strategies, helping to shift quality left in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

→Contribute to product improvement beyond testing code by actively caring about the product and its users.
→Collaborate closely with Software Engineers to review code, provide feedback on testability, and drive comprehensive test coverage.
→Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks and tools.

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant experience.
✓4+ years of relevant experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or highly automated Test Engineer role.
✓Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical people.
✓Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks.
✓Strong understanding of software development principles, technical architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
