About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join Vonage and help innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide. This role focuses on providing first-class support to strategic customers integrating our Voice APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Investigate, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues related to our Voice APIs
- →Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with customers and internal stakeholders
- →Problem solve, demonstrate natural curiosity and rapid learning ability
- →Capture knowledge for customers who prefer self-solving issues
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- ✓2+ years experience working as a Support Engineer with APIs, or in telecommunications or SaaS sectors
- ✓Voice technologies: SIP, VoiceXML, CCXML, WebRTC, Websockets
- ✓Voice software: Asterisk, Freeswitch, Kamailio, Voxeo Prophecy
- ✓Experience supporting or integrating APIs and/or SDKs
