About the Role
We are looking for a talented Lead Level Designer to join Voodoo, a leading mobile game publisher. You will be a hands-on level designer for our mobile casual game Hole.io and eventually supervise and mentor a team of level designers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with the creative team to plan level progression and difficulty curve
- →Design innovative and varied 3D levels using Unity and proprietary tools
- →Manage and mentor a small team of level designers
- →Define level design guidelines tailored to game and audience needs
- →Iterate on Level Design tools to improve workflow and quality
- →Document all levels, progressions, and AB tests
- →Contribute ideas for new game mechanics, assets, and themes
- →Work with artists, animators, and programmers to realize level designs
- →Test and balance levels using player feedback and data
- →Ensure designs adhere to technical constraints
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of proven experience in Level Design for 3D games
- ✓Strong Unity knowledge
- ✓Strong understanding of game design principles, particularly casual genre
- ✓Experience or interest in leading and mentoring a team
- ✓Experience in data-driven level balancing and tweaking
- ✓Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
