About the Role
Voodoo is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team of 5 engineers working on the gaming backend platform. This role is crucial as we transition from Hyper-Casual games to Hybrid, Casual & Mid-Core games, supporting titles like Mob Control and Block Jam.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work on the backend platform supporting highly scalable mobile games
- →Collaborate with client-developers and game designers from feature design to delivery
- →Handle infrastructure, API design & coding, and client-side integration
- →Champion new tech initiatives and leverage existing solutions
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of backend development experience
- ✓Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- ✓Extreme fluency in Golang
- ✓Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
- ✓Background in high-scale systems
- ✓Understanding of Unix-like environments
- ✓Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
- ✓Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems related to scalability
- ✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ✓Ability to work autonomously
- ✓A deep interest in game development is a plus
