About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Artist to join our Live games team at Voodoo, a leading mobile game publisher. You will be working on Hole.io, one of our globally renowned games, collaborating with gaming industry experts to enhance user experience and design engaging interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- βSupport the Art director in the ideation and execution of the gameβs vision
- βDesign and oversee integration of a high-quality, scalable UI
- βDevelop and optimize UX flows of new and existing features
- βCreate and maintain a comprehensive UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries
- βCreate high-quality 2D assets (menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, illustrations, etc) and ensure optimal performance across mobile devices
- βUtilize Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- βWork with Game Designers and the Product Team to ensure UI supports gameplay and accessibility goals
- βIterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data
- βPropose creative ideas to boost player engagement and improve the user experience
Requirements
- β4+ years experience as a UI/UX Artist on shipped mobile games
- βExperience designing in Figma
- βExcellent design skills, with a keen eye for visual hierarchy, composition, and readability
- βExperience with A/B testing interfaces or working with LiveOps features
- βA keen eye for emerging mobile game trends with the ability to creatively deconstruct and learn from success cases
- βAbility to design, document and execute a consistent UI visual language
- βExperience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams
- βFluent in English
