Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the full video and audio editing workflow for each episode, shaping structure, pacing, clarity, and visual presentation.
- →Manage multi-track/multi-camera assembly, layout adjustments, sync, and cleanup; use Premiere/After Effects for video.
- →Record and remotely direct host video; manage technical logistics for remote and some studio recordings.
- →Prepare assets — thumbnails, captions, titles, descriptions — and handle uploads, scheduling, metadata, and QC for consistent platform presentation.
- →Manage multiple episodes at once while maintaining accuracy, organization, and deadlines.
Requirements
- ✓At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience producing videos, ideally for longform, highly produced, interview-driven, or idea-focused shows.
- ✓Expert-level understanding of Adobe Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects. Experience with Descript and ProTools is a plus.
- ✓Experience with publishing best practices—including thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, and performance optimization.
- ✓Proficiency with studio lighting setups and field shoots.
- ✓Familiarity with long-form conversational editing, especially intellectually rich or exploratory discussions.
- ✓An interest or background in science and narrative journalism.
