About the Role

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to join our team at Wabtec. This role focuses on leading and managing the entire ITO (Inquiry to Order) process for deals in our Digital Intelligence Operating Unit, working with key technical and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead and manage the entire Inquiry to Order process for complex deals
→Coordinate all commercial aspects of projects, including client requirements, procurement, budgets, and contracts
→Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
→Provide competitive commercial proposals and lead negotiations to close complex deals
→Work closely with Sales Directors and Account Managers to ensure customer needs are met
→Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and guidelines
→Lead proposals for new expanded area scope and commercial finance scope

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
✓Experience in managing complex proposals and projects, especially in train control and railroad signaling
✓Strong leadership skills, excellent communicator with business acumen
✓Experience in developing and implementing winning commercial strategies
✓Ability to work collaboratively with multiple levels of the organization
✓Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
✓Understanding of legal and financial requirements for contracts
✓Proficiency in all MS-Office applications
✓Fluent English
