Key Responsibilities
- βEnsure the overall performance of contracts under responsibility in terms of timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with contractual requirements
- βMaintain a sound relationship between the customer and various stakeholders of each project
- βProvide regular project reports, including weekly and monthly reports, risk registers, and key performance indicators
- βDevelop project documentation, including master schedules and project plans
- βDevelop project-specific schedules based on departmental schedules
- βEnsure projects follow standard processes and meet quality expectations
- βManage and control the relationship with customers through appropriate reporting and regular meetings
- βClarify the scope of work with internal teams before obtaining customer buy-in
- βAddress customer dissatisfactions with teams and management
- βDevelop effective communication plans for projects
- βIdentify and quantify potential project risks
- βLead project reporting meetings with management
- βEnsure effective management of budget items associated with projects
- βDevelop action plans to minimize impacts of schedule delays
Requirements
- βBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- βMinimum of 10 years of experience in project or program management
- βMinimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or rail transit
- βExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and contract administration
- βStrong motivator and team player
- βDemonstrates exemplary leadership
- βBilingual, English and French
- βAvailable to travel to the United States occasionally
- βValid driverβs license
- βCertification PMP is an asset
