About the Role
We are looking for a Project Quality Manager to join Wabtec. This role is responsible for managing customer quality interfaces and leading project quality activities according to APQP processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage Customer Quality Interface for assigned customers and projects, ensuring performance targets are achieved
- →Represent the customer in the project and Wabtec in front of customer quality organizations
- →Lead Project Quality activities according to APQP Process and represent the project in quality networks
- →Set Project Quality Targets aligned with Product Line and Customer requirements, managing and sharing KPIs
- →Lead and manage customer issues in the project according to Wabtec rules
- →Has the authority to stop project phase, production, and shipments in case of major non-conformities
Requirements
- ✓Experience in managing customer quality interfaces and project quality activities
- ✓Knowledge of APQP processes and quality management systems
- ✓Ability to lead root cause analysis and manage customer issues
- ✓Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (5W2H, QRQC, 8D, PDCA-FTA)
- ✓Strong communication and leadership skills
- ✓Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- ✓Experience with project quality planning and execution
- ✓Understanding of design standards and safety/critical characteristics management
- ✓Ability to define, follow, and update control plans for products
- ✓Experience with managing change requests and leading internal and customer FAIs
