About the Role
Wabtec is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Oracle DBA to join their Digital Technology team. This role is responsible for ensuring database environments are secure, high-performing, and highly available to support global manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Install, upgrade, configure, tune, debug, and patch all components of the Oracle 19c technology stack
- →Implement Oracle 19c GRID/RAC architecture on RedHat Enterprise Linux
- →Manage Oracle Data Guard configurations and operations
- →Monitor and tune Cloud databases and components
- →Provide technical support for Oracle EBS
- →Design and maintain database security
- →Develop automation scripts using Linux, SQL, and PL/SQL
- →Manage DBA team and ensure SLA compliance
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- ✓10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle 12c or higher
- ✓Expertise in Oracle 19c administration and related tools
- ✓Proficiency in SSH/KSH/BASH scripting
- ✓Advanced Data Guard expertise
- ✓Experience with AWS, OCI cloud technologies
- ✓Knowledge of Oracle security best practices
- ✓Strong understanding of Oracle tuning and operational support
- ✓Operations mindset with ITSM experience
