About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SQA Automation Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for our cross-platform desktop and embedded applications built with Qt and C++. Your work will ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our products throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts and test cases using the Qt Test framework and other relevant tools.
- →Expand and improve our automated testing framework for Qt/C++ applications, including test fixtures, libraries, and tools to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- →Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), manual testing, and root cause analysis.
- →Mentor junior engineers/interns and supervise contractors.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- ✓Strong proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience developing and testing applications using the Qt framework (Widgets, QML/Qt Quick).
- ✓Demonstrated experience with automated testing tools and frameworks specific to Qt, such as Qt Test framework, Qt Quick Test, Squish for Qt, and QtTesting.
- ✓Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- ✓Experience in scripting for test automation and framework development.
- ✓Experience testing cross-platform applications on multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
- ✓Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report bugs and collaborate with team members.
