About the Role
The Sales Engineer (SE) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for WatchGuard in Southern Europe through a partner-led sales model. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with channel partners to support complex sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify, develop, and expand technical relationships with key indirect reseller partners in the assigned territory
- →Drive revenue growth through reseller partners by providing pre-sales technical support and training
- →Assist field sales with pre-sales and post-sales support
- →Help increase reseller, partner, and end-user adoption of WatchGuard products through tradeshows and training
- →Coordinate inter-departmental technical resources to close prospective opportunities
- →Resolve partner and customer issues when appropriate
- →Assist evaluation customers with the setup and configuration of WatchGuard products
- →Identify and report on competitive trends
- →Create technical content for various audiences
Requirements
- ✓Five (5)+ years of pre-sales technical experience with resellers or manufacturers
- ✓Demonstrated experience supporting customers and partners across the Middle East region
- ✓Strong networking background including TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, and SD-WAN
- ✓Experience with network security technologies, particularly UTM solutions
- ✓Endpoint security experience
- ✓Effective written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- ✓Ability to balance competing priorities and self-manage while working remotely
- ✓BS/BA or equivalent work experience
- ✓Proficient in English communications
