About the Role
Waymo is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving technology team. You will work on developing novel methods for quantifying simulation realism and integrating them with our internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Study and survey existing simulation realism evaluation methods
- →Design novel methods for quantifying simulation realism
- →Implement new methods, run experiments, and compare different approaches
- →Productionize methods and integrate with Waymo's simulation tooling
Requirements
- ✓Progressing towards a Masters or PhD Degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Graduation date in late 2026 or 2027
- ✓Solid skills in CS fundamentals or math
- ✓Experience in evaluating machine learning models or data-driven systems
- ✓Familiarity with SQL, Python/C++
