About the Role
The DTS team at Waymo defines and builds the business IT architecture that supports the commercial operation of Waymo's autonomous fleet. In this hybrid role, you will report to a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & GTM Systems and focus on AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Strategize and define the roadmap for AI-driven solutions across the organization
- →Lead technical discussions to translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures and system designs
- →Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate AI solutions into existing business workflows and decision-making processes
- →Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML technologies, platforms and frameworks to meet specific business needs
- →Drive best practices in AI solution development and engineering
Requirements
- ✓BS degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building and shipping AI/ML products
- ✓Proven track record of designing and implementing complex AI solutions that deliver measurable business value
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Vertex AI Agent Builder, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms
- ✓Experience leading technical strategy and architectural decisions for data-intensive applications
- ✓Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
